Bulk Lawn & Garden Equipment wins 2019 Cub Cadet Unlocking Possible Award

Bulk Lawn & Garden Equipment of Middletown, R.I., was named the winner of Cub Cadet’s inaugural Unlocking Possible Award, which recognizes an independent dealer in its national network who lives out the company’s purpose of unlocking possible. The award is given to a dealer who goes above and beyond to support and contribute to its community every day.

In winning the Unlocking Possible Award, Bulk Lawn & Garden Equipment will receive $2,500 to further its charitable giving.

The Bulk family founded a nonprofit, the Three Angels Fund, in 2010 to honor three family members – Eileen Bulk, Nan Bulk and Ann Pine – who lost their respective battles with cancer within 17 months of each other. In memory of those three women who had dedicated their lives to helping and caring for their families and friends, the fund’s mission is to aid others going through cancer treatment. Since 2010, the fund has generated more than $400,000 in aid that has gone directly back into the local community, including the purchase of comfort items for patients undergoing treatment and medical supplies not covered by insurance.

“We’re proud to honor Bulk Lawn & Garden Equipment with the Unlocking Possible Award as they generously affect the lives of people in their community,” said Tom Rossman, senior director of sales at Cub Cadet. “As small business owners, Cub Cadet independent dealers help to positively contribute to their communities.”
