Husqvarna uses AppSheet to enhance performance in its service parts distribution center

AppSheet, a leading no-code development platform provider, announced highlights from a customer case study featuring Husqvarna. Leveraging the AppSheet no-code platform, Husqvarna’s largest North American parts and accessories distribution center, located in Columbia, S.C., is now fully digital with a series of apps that manage inventory, personnel management, forklift drivers, shipping, receiving, quality tracking, and more. The eight-month effort was spearheaded by N.A. Chris Dulski, director of supply chain; Mark Creighton, operations manager; and Erika Braxton, tech team lead.

“Digitally transforming our inventory and warehouse management processes was our ultimate goal so we made a bold decision: enhance warehouse operations with a suite of custom apps built on the AppSheet platform,” said Dulski.

“Within eight months two people, built more than 40 apps to manage many of the processes in our facility. We accomplished all of this without having any development background and without writing a single line of code,” said Creighton.

“I recently visited the Husqvarna facility in Columbia S.C. It is the perfect example of how to transform a paper-based process into a fully digital operation,” said Praveen Seshadri, CEO of AppSheet. “Their app transformation reflects the power and agility of no-code app development. What Mark and Erika accomplished within such a short timeframe is a testament to their innovation and their willingness to employ modern technology to drive productivity.”
