EDA launches Student Resource Database

The Equipment Dealers Association launched of a brand new resource for the equipment industry: EDA’s Student Resource Database. This database is a dynamic, comprehensive guide that is accessible via the EDA website (https://www.equipmentdealer.org/workforce-development) and available to anyone interested in pursuing a career in the ag equipment industry. The database is primarily used to locate resources to facilitate a student’s education and/or job placement prospects, but may also be used by educators and employers to find local talent. The database contains a state-by-state listing of Technical and Vocational Programs, Scholarships and Job Opportunities as well as a collection of National scholarship offerings.

The database is maintained by EDA staff with the assistance of those who visit and use the site. Students, educators, employers, etc. can also provide EDA with additional resources and opportunities in a given state.  It is our hope that this site becomes the largest and most comprehensive database of industry education and employment information available.  EDA welcomes the opportunity to partner with other industry stakeholders in sharing this information with their members.

The Job Opportunities tab is sponsored by EDA’s partner, JobDepotUSA.  JobDepotUSA is an industry specific job board that specializes in the industrial equipment, transportation and automotive industries.  They are backed by T3 Recruiters, a national leader in specialty recruiting.  Not only is this job board a great resource for candidates interested in the industry, it’s a great way for employers to target their specific audience.  As such, EDA and JobDepotUSA are offering EDA members a 40% discount on any job posting they place through the board.  Even better? If a dealer posts a job to JobDepotUSA’s board and hires a veteran, their money is either refunded OR donated to a charity serving veterans.
