Hardscape North America announces Dealer Network Program

Hardscape North America’s (HNA) 2018 program for dealers, which will focus on taking control of your inventory, will start a day earlier this year. The HNA Dealer Network Program will begin on Tuesday, October 16, with a half-day afternoon program at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, which segues into the Dealer Networking Reception. The program will conclude at the Kentucky Exposition Center on Wednesday, October 17 featuring two Dealer sessions by Bob Clements and Dealer Keynote speaker, Dr. Robert Ballard.

The Dealer Network Program will give dealers the opportunity to network with peers to identify key takeaways from each session and implement these new ideas into their business.

The Tuesday program, 1 – 4:30 p.m., will feature an interactive session and roundtable discussion led by Matt Mallas and Derek Whisenand. The program topics will include:

  • Utilizing Just-In-Time stock and shipping vendors
  • Utilizing co-ops or buying groups as opposed to dealing directly with vendors
  • When it makes sense to implement an inventory management (ERP or POS) system

Immediately following the conclusion of Tuesday’s Dealer Network Program, Dealers will transition directly into a networking reception from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in which they can share best practices learned during the afternoon session.

The Wednesday program begins at 8 a.m. with two sessions by dealership expert Bob Clements. His topics will include “Unleashing the Power of Your Employees” and “The New Future of Retailing.”

Closing out the program, Dr. Ballard, discoverer of the Titanic wreckage and former U.S. Navy officer, will present the keynote – “Science, Exploration and the Miracles of Human Achievement.” He will entertain, inspire and propel dealers to achieve success as he tells the stories of his discoveries and adventures.

Following the conclusion of the Dealer Program on Wednesday, the exclusive Dealer Preview of HNA and GIE+EXPO (Green Industry & Equipment Expo) will be from Noon to 3 p.m., and the trade show floors will open to ALL industry attendees from 3 to 7 p.m.

Dealer Network Program Registration is $179 for ICPI, BIA and NCMA members and $199 for non-members (registration does not include trade show admission). The HNA Dealer Networking Reception, which will be held on Tuesday, October 16, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency, is included with the Dealer Network Program registration.

HNA 2018 early-bird trade show registration is now available for $15 (fees increase after September 6). HNA registration includes access to both HNA and GIE+EXPO indoor exhibits, access to the 20-acre Outdoor Demonstration Area, entrance to the HNA Hardscape Project Awards Recognition Presentation on Thursday, October 18 and three free concerts at Fourth Street Live!
