EETC announces 2018 Paul H. Scholten Scholarship

The Equipment & Engine Training Council (EETC) announced that the 2018 Paul H. Scholten Memorial Scholarship Program is open for application submissions. Scholarships will be awarded at EETC’s annual conference in Auburn, Ala., on April 13, 2018.

Applicants can apply online through the EETC website (www.eetc.org). The application deadline is March 23.

Scholarships will be awarded to individuals pursuing a certificate or degree in power equipment technology at an EETC-accredited school. Applicants will be judged on their academic achievement, leadership activities, and student statement. Preference will be given to qualified applicants who exhibit financial need.

You are eligible to apply for EETC’s Paul H. Scholten Memorial Scholarship if you are:

• Full-time student (minimum 12 credits).
• Currently enrolled in an EETC-accredited power equipment program.
• A high school senior who has been accepted for enrollment in an EETC accredited power equipment program.

The Equipment & Engine Training Council’s Scholarship Committee judges all scholarship applications. The committee is comprised of power equipment educators and industry leaders.
