Wright to celebrate 20th birthday of first stand-on mower at GIE+EXPO 2017

In 1997, Wright Manufacturing began selling the industry’s first stand-on mower – the Stander. And, this October, Wright will host a three-day 20th birthday party for the Stander at GIE+EXPO at its indoor booth (#3094).

During Dealer Day on Wednesday, Oct. 18, Wright will celebrate with cake and champagne from 3 to 7 p.m. On Thursday, Oct. 19, and Friday, Oct. 20, you can stop by Wright’s booth from 11 a.m. to noon to have your picture taken with Bill Wright, president and CEO, who invented the first stand-on mower.

Throughout the show, Wright Manufacturing will hand out special 20th anniversary T-shirts (while supply lasts) to anyone who will take a selfie wearing the shirt; post it on Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter; and tag Wright.

When you drop by the Wright booth to help celebrate the Stander’s birthday, you can also check out the large-deck Stander ZK models now powered by Briggs & Stratton’s 37 hp. EFI engine. Then, you can step outside the Kentucky Exposition Center to outdoor booth 7624-D and test drive this powerful Stander, along with all the Wright mowers.
