EETC announces conference training sessions

The Equipment & Engine Training Council (EETC) recently announced the following training sessions will be held during its 19th annual conference April 8-11 in Mundelein, Ill., at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.

Stihl Factory Training
Stihl Engine Diagnostic Check
Class length: 1.45 hours

Eddie Anderson, technical training supervisor at Stihl Inc., will provide teaching on the Stihl Engine Diagnostic Check. This stepped process takes the technician through a series of sequential checks to diagnosis any potential or current product issues. This stepped process is used world-wide at Stihl dealers and is a proven tool to diagnose Stihl product.

Subaru Factory Training
Subaru Chain Drive OHC Engine
Class length: 1.45 hours  

Barry Miller of Subaru Power Products will conduct a technical session on the EX chain drive- overhead valve, overhead cam engine. This session will cover the major features and benefits of a chain drive valve-train. A hands-on tear down and reassembly of the EX engines will be conducted in small groups to reinforce instruction.
