Hardscape North America announces 2012 Distributor Program

Hardscape North America’s (HNA) Distributor Program will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky. HNA 2012 and the Green Industry & Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO) will be open exclusively to distributors and dealers on Wednesday afternoon and to all industry participants on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 25 and 26.


With the theme, “Race to Recovery,” the distributor program is geared toward helping dealers and distributors rev up their businesses through a fast-paced program featuring industry experts. Now in its fourth year, this day-long program will feature:

Exciting presentations on distributors’ most pressing business challenges
Industry-leading speakers
Roundtable discussions, giving participants valuable insights from their peers
VIP access to the HNA and GIE+EXPO trade show floors and a networking reception on Wednesday until 7 p.m.

Session topics include “Start Your Engines,” “Attitude Will Win the Race,” “Using Social Media to Drive Sales,” “A Winning Strategy for Distributors” and “She’s in the Driver’s Seat.”


Afternoon roundtable discussions will cover topics such as “Marketing Like a Champion,” “Be a Leader with Eco-friendly Products,” “Shake and Bake Showrooms,” “Accelerate Out of the Turn — with 3D Software,” “Getting Employees in Full Throttle,” “Win the Collections Race” and “Using Events to Fast Track Your Store’s Exposure.”


“Distributors are the engines of the hardscape industry,” said Lisa Lackovic, chair, HNA Distributor Program Task Group, and regional sales manager, Pavestone Company, which is one of the event sponsors. “The Distributor Day helps fuel those engines with innovative ways to help them grow their businesses and win the race to recovery.”

HNA — which is produced by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) and endorsed by the Brick Industry Association (BIA) and the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) — is co-located with GIE+EXPO to form the ninth largest trade show in America. Collectively, the shows offer 750 exhibitors indoors and outside in the adjacent 19-acre demonstration area. The early-bird registration fee for the Distributor Program and trade show is $229; a discount is offered to members of ICPI, NCMA and BIA. The fee includes all Distributor Program presentations, lunch, coffee breaks, VIP access to the trade show floor and a networking reception on Oct. 24, and, on Oct. 25-26, admission to GIE+EXPO and the hardscape demonstrations in the HNA Outdoor Arena.
