Rebecca Butler promoted to national sales manager at Dixie Chopper
Dixie Chopper President Gary A. Morgan recently announced the appointment of Rebecca E. Butler as national sales manager.
“I am pleased and proud to announce the appointment of Rebecca E. Butler as national sales manager for Dixie Chopper,” Morgan said. “I look forward to her valued input and leadership in marketing and selling the ‘World’s Fastest Lawn Mower.’”
Prior to her new appointment, Butler had been serving as both a Dixie Chopper zone manager for the Northeast United States and territory manager for Territory 17. She joined Dixie Chopper in November 2008 as the company’s first female territory manager and has been instrumental in increasing the Dixie Chopper presence and market share in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
Born in Upstate New York, Butler was raised on a dairy farm just outside Cobleskill, N.Y. She worked on the farm from a young age and is familiar with all aspects of farming, including the operation of machinery.
Her background also includes wholesale and retail sales experience, as well as management experience. She is also a licensed real estate broker and was a leader in the Upstate New York real estate market for many years. Butler holds a degree in Business Management.
Butler will continue to be based in Cobleskill, N.Y., where she lives with her husband John and their three children, Ashley, Amber and Jack.
As national sales manager, Butler will be responsible for all Dixie Chopper sales activities. Territory managers and the dealer account specialist group will report to her.
