Gravely introduces the Pro-Turn Z zero-turn mower series

Gravely introduced a new series in the Pro-Turn line of professional zero-turn mowers, the Pro-Turn Z. The Gravely Pro-Turn Z was designed with several of the features commercial cutters have come to love on Gravely’s Pro-Turn line, at a more affordable price point. Packed with premium features like an industry-leading frame and deck sizes available in 52 or 60 inches, the Gravely Pro-Turn Z is a durable zero-turn built to withstand work in any environment.

The Gravely Pro-Turn Z features a 10-gauge welded deck design that’s 5-1/2 inches deep with a reinforced leading edge that provides the airflow needed to tackle tough mowing conditions. The Pro-Turn Z is also built on an industry-leading large formed tubular frame rail, which serves as the backbone to support the loads of the machine.

The Pro-Turn Z also features Gravely’s constant belt tensioning system (CBT), a system that ensures the belt tension is constant, minimizing wear and heat while providing enhanced belt life with minimal adjustments necessary.

Maintenance-free forged aluminum spindles were also added to improve the machine’s ease of serviceability. The new aluminum spindles reduce bearing temperatures for an overall cooler operation. Also improving accessibility, a flip-up foot pan was added, which allows the operator to access maintenance items on the top of the deck in minutes.

The Pro-Turn Z was built with several considerations that improve the operator comfort for those who work in commercial conditions. Integrating features such as a custom designed high-back seat with padded arm rests, seat isolators and large diameter steering arms, the Pro-Turn Z helps support the operator who needs to tackle a large job, and was built with the intent of making hard work a little easier. The machine’s 15 cutting positions at the operator’s fingertips, and other upgrades like the foot-operated deck lift were added to increase operator efficiency. The Pro-Turn Z also comes standard with a roll over protection system (ROPS), offering extra protection to the operator.

Larger front and back tires add to the machine’s durability and efficiency, while the easily-serviceable Hydro-Gear ZT-3100 transmission reduces downtime. All models are available with new Gravely 23.5-horsepower engines, which are serviced directly by Gravely.

“The new Gravely Pro-Turn Z is the perfect machine for landscapers who want commercial features at an affordable price,” said Ariens Company Vice President of Marketing Matt Medden. “With this new series, we’ve worked hard to incorporate the commercial features our professional landscapers need to complete their jobs. We focused on comfort, durability and efficiency with this series, and are positive our customers are going to love the new Pro-Turn Z.”
