Scag announces retirement of long-time president

Scag Power Equipment announced on November 29 the retirement of its long-time president, John L. Crowson, effective Jan. 1, 2018. Since joining Scag in 1992, Crowson has served in various executive positions, including president since 2008. Chris Frame, a 20-year veteran of Scag, will be promoted from vice president and general manager to succeed Crowson as the president of Scag.

“I am grateful for my time with Scag, and the outstanding support of our dealers, distributors and employees throughout those years,” said Crowson. “Scag has enjoyed tremendous growth and is well positioned to continue as a leader in the outdoor power equipment industry under the very capable leadership of Chris Frame and his team.”

Scag Power Equipment thanks Mr. Crowson for his many years of service and wishes him well in his retirement.
