TSV launches new additions to Jacobsen zero-turn series at GIE+EXPO 2017

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. (TSV), a Textron Inc. company, announced the launch of its new Jacobsen ZT900 and ZT1000 zero-turn mowers. Building on the success of the ZT400 and ZT600 launched in 2016, the two new models in the series continue to deliver dependable performance and professional results.

The ZT900 models are available with a 27-hp. Kawasaki engine or a fuel-efficient alternative from Kohler. They also feature a 54- or 60-inch cutting width and can reach ground speeds of up to 12 mph.

The ZT1000 comes equipped with either a 35-hp. Kawasaki engine or a 33-hp. fuel-efficient Kohler engine. The models feature a 60-, 66- or 72-inch cutting width and can reach ground speeds of up to 14 mph. With operator comfort in mind, the ZT1000 comes with an all-new ISO-mounted platform suspension seat as standard with padded armrests, recline, and lumbar support.

The ZT900 and ZT1000 feature the InCommand console with keyless password-protected ignition and SoftStart clutch for smoother clutch engagement.

Both models feature Parker transmissions, which are compact, quiet and efficient. They also have maintenance-free PEER Turf Xtreme spindles with Contamination Exclusion Technology for increased durability. The PerfectTension deck drive system maintains optimal belt tension for reduced maintenance and up to three times increased belt life expectancy. In addition, Jacobsen ZT mowers offer 1,000-hour oil- and filter-change intervals, saving time and money.
