EDA announces new board chairman

Tom Rosztoczy

The Equipment Dealers Association (EDA) recently announced the election of Tom Rosztoczy as its new chairman of the board. Rosztoczy has served on EDA’s board since 2015 and most recently was treasurer and a member of the Audit and Finance Committee. His term as chairman is two years.

Rosztoczy is president and chief executive officer of Stotz Equipment, a 25-store John Deere dealership. He graduated from Stanford University, where he earned a B.S. in industrial engineering. His experience includes previous service as a director and president of the FarWest Equipment Dealers Association. He also served on John Deere’s National Dealer Advisory Group for Large Ag Dealers and John Deere’s National Dealer Advisory Council for Turf Dealers. He was named Farm Equipment magazine’s Dealer of the Year in 2013.

“Tom has been a leader throughout his tenure on EDA’s board,” said Brian Carpenter, outgoing chairman. “I have complete confidence that he has nothing but the best of intentions for the association and that he will work tirelessly to ensure we are providing value to our members.”

As the outgoing chairman, Carpenter will remain on the board of directors for a term of at least one year.
