Husqvarna partners with Men Against Breast Cancer for 2017 campaign

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Husqvarna is partnering with Men Against Breast Cancer (MABC) in the fight against this deadly disease. Now in its fifth year, Husqvarna’s “Saws for a Cause” campaign will drive awareness and raise funds for the non-profit organization and its mission as a supporting organization for men whose families are affected by breast cancer.

Consumers in the United States and Canada can purchase limited-edition pink toy chain saws from local Husqvarna dealers throughout the month of October. For every purchase of a pink toy chain saw, while supplies last, Husqvarna and its partners will donate $3 ($1 from Husqvarna, $1 from Husqvarna dealer and $1 from Prevox for up to $15,000) to Men Against Breast Cancer the first and only national 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization designed to provide targeted support services that educate and empower men to be effective caregivers when cancer strikes.

“Husqvarna remains committed to supporting breast cancer awareness, and we are excited to partner with Men Against Breast Cancer this year to raise awareness about their mission and contribute to their cause,” said Michelle Sordi, marketing director for Husqvarna. “Their work serves an important role for caregivers, who are often overlooked in the conversation about this disease.”

Additionally, Husqvarna is holding the 2017 Husqvarna Breast Cancer Awareness Giveaway, where one randomly selected winner will receive a limited-edition pink 450 Rancher chain saw and limited-edition pink toy chain saw. The giveaway entry period runs from October 1 through November 15.
