Hustler Turf enters UTV market with patented technology

1612_ope_fs_gie-expo_hustler-turf_mdvHustler Turf introduced the MDV (Maximum Duty Vehicle) at GIE+EXPO 2016. The tough, precision-built utility vehicle is the latest innovation from Hustler and combines the industry’s most popular features with patented LEVELIFT bed technology.

Flip a switch and the LEVELIFT brings the cargo box up, back, and down, enabling the user to load at ground level or at any point along the mechanism’s arc of motion. Once loaded, the LEVELIFT brings the cargo box back up and into position on the MDV. With minimum time and effort, the cargo is loaded and on its way.

LEVELIFT bed technology also enables loads to be dumped at any height or distance along its arc of motion, providing users with more options for how and where the cargo is unloaded.

“The MDV is truly in a class of its own, creating the maximum-duty category,” said Adam Mullet, Hustler Turf’s vice president of sales and marketing, USA. “It blends rugged durability with automotive fit and finish in a beautiful way. With LEVELIFT technology, we are offering customers more than a way to go from A to B. We are offering a tool that actually gets work done. It has the ability to reduce a two-man job down to one, or minimize back stress since operators no longer need to lift. It’s amazing what the MDV can accomplish.”

The Hustler MDV is available in a standard bed model or with LEVELIFT. The all-wheel-drive MDV runs at a top speed of 37 mph and comes with a wide range of options and accessories available.

Also at GIE+EXPO 2016, Hustler Turf introduced two zero-turn mowers: the Hustler X-ONE and the Raptor SDX with a 54-inch deck. The company also announced that the Raptor and Raptor SD zero-turn mowers will feature upgraded Kohler 7000 Series engines.
