Husqvarna announces availability of 3 new Automowers

Husqvarna announced May 23 that the latest additions to its Automower robotic lawnmower line are available for purchase.

The new models – Automower 315, for areas up to 0.37 acres; Automower 430X, for areas up to 0.8 acres; and Automower 450X, for areas up to 1.25 acres – will feature new technological capabilities, including a complementing mobile app, that are unprecedented in the industry.

During the past two decades, Husqvarna has refined its robotic mowing device to achieve the highest level of reliability, quality and cutting result. All Automowers cut grass automatically, without supervision, and work in variable weather, on rough terrain and slopes up to 45 percent, delivering silent, emissions-free performance.

“Every Husqvarna Automower is designed to operate independently and effectively,” said Sean Dwyer, director of regional product development for Husqvarna. “This new line is no different, blending safety and ease of use with state-of-the-art technology to produce a beautiful, carpet-like lawn.”

Specific to Automower 450X is Automower Connect, a smartphone application that allows users to operate and monitor their mower from anywhere in the world. Compatible with Android and iOS devices, including Apple Watch, Automower Connect grants access to the mower’s control panel, making it easy to change settings remotely. In case of theft, Automower Connect activates an alarm and tracks the mower’s position.
