Husqvarna Group announces management change

Husqvarna Group announced April 20 that Jeff Hohler has been appointed president of the Consumer Brands Division and member of Husqvarna Group management, effective May 1.

Most recently, Hohler served as president of the Tools Business Segment within Newell Rubbermaid, Inc. He has held several different divisional president positions within Newell Rubbermaid since he joined the company in 2001. Between 1991 and 2001, Hohler held numerous managerial positions within the Black & Decker Corporation.

Hohler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Bowling Green State University in 1988 and an MBA in Marketing from John Hopkins University in 2000.

“I’d like to welcome Jeff to Husqvarna Group,” said Kai Wärn, president and CEO of the Husqvarna Group. “His management and leadership skills, his solid retail experience and turnaround track record will be great assets for our Consumer Brands Division, as well as for the Group.”

Hohler’s predecessor Alan Shaw will leave Husqvarna Group in order to pursue other interests.

“I want to thank Alan for his valuable contributions during his time with the Husqvarna Group,” said Wärn. “I am also grateful to Alan for remaining with the Group until we found his successor and wish him the best of luck in the future.”
